Hannah Sward was abandoned by her mother, and lived with her poet father on an island with no stores or cars. Kidnapped and molested by a stranger at age six, she grew up to be a stripper and a sex worker with a taste for crystal meth - with stops along the way for silent gurus, sugar daddies, and drinking in the public bathroom before therapy sessions.
Painstakingly honest, Hannah shares her journey from innocence to a dark existence, and beyond it to a world of empowerment and reclaiming her voice.

✨The Other Side of Success is where we share stories of people who win big - and when they failed hard. By sharing true tales from the trenches, we expose an important truth of success: that failure along the way is not only inevitable, but required.
This is true in business, in entrepreneurship, in relationships, and in personal accomplishment - really, in the effort to build ANYTHING that matters.
It's not about glorifying failure, it's about humanizing success. Because, behind every success story, there's a tale of epic failure waiting to be told.

"I didn't think of myself as a failure. I thought of myself as broken."
Britt Frank, LSCSW, licensed neuro-psychotherapist and author of The Science of Stuck, shares her intimate relationship with failure, describing it as an abusive relationship that she couldn't escape.
