Just a heads up: This episode contains discussions of online predatory grooming, sextortion of a minor, and sexual assault of child. Some may find it upsetting. We encourage you to take care of yourself.

What if the person you trusted online wasn’t who they claimed to be? What if a friendly conversation turned into manipulation, blackmail, and a nightmare you couldn’t escape?

Today, we’re exposing the terrifying reality of online predators—how they groom, deceive, and exploit children in the digital age. Digital human trafficking and sextortion don’t always start with violence; they often begin with trust. Social media, gaming apps, and private messages have become hunting grounds for predators who hide behind screens, using manipulation to lure their victims into a dangerous trap.

Lisa welcomes Summer Beach, a survivor and fierce advocate who was groomed, blackmailed, and ultimately assaulted by an online predator at just 12 years old. Summer courageously shares her story to shine a light on the hidden epidemic of online child exploitation and to empower young people and parents to recognize the warning signs before it’s too late.

This episode is about breaking the silence, demanding accountability, and taking back power from those who prey on the most vulnerable.

From Now On… we will not wish bad things upon ourselves.
