The Kickstarter has officially ended, and unfortunately we didn’t meet our goal or make the amount needed for Season Two. The money will now return to everyone who pledged it.

It’s a blow, but made softer by the wonderful support, messages and donations we’ve received over the last few weeks. Whether you’ve been with us since the first Kickstarter, or found us only a few days ago, we cannot overstate just how much your listenership, love and support means and has meant to us.

What comes next?

We are not giving up on season two! We’re going to finish and lock the scripts, as we always planned, and see what we can do with alternate avenues of funding, ready to jump into production as soon as we find ourselves able.

It means a much harder, slower road, especially with arts council funding all but dried up for podcasts, and with no money, backing or networks supporting us at this current time. We’re going to start putting out feelers, and see what we can do into the new year.

As a huge thank you to everyone who has helped and supported us, we intend to produce a small bare-bones winter special over the next few months. We’ll keep you updated as we can, but we can reveal it will center around Jonathan Harker the Third and The Sister. (And if we can’t produce it, we might simply post the script!)

Just to reiterate the above, thank you so much for everything. We're going to find a way to make Holmwood somehow. We're not going anywhere, and if you have any questions at any time, you can ask us on any of our socials.

Hello everyone. Georgia here, one half of the writing team behind the Holmwood Foundation. 

We now have two weeks left to go on our Kickstarter for season two. Unfortunately we are currently only 18 percent funded, and are running out of time to secure the full amount.

If we don’t raise the amount needed, we simply can’t make season two. We have no outside funding, and no current sponsors. We are not a large production company. Holmwood is just the two of us writing, producing, and finding the money to pay our cast and crew. 

If you like what we’ve produced for season one, and want to know what happens next to Maddie, Jeremy and the Harkers, please consider donating to the kickstarter. We have a range of exciting tier rewards on offer, including cassette tapes of the pilot, stickers, postcards and a deck of playing cards designed around the main cast.

We’ve loved making Holmwood so far, and we are so excited to bring you season two. We know exactly where we’re headed in the story, but we need your help to get us there.

Hello everyone, This is Fio Trethewey for your update on The Holmwood Foundation.

Following our successful seven-episode first season, we’re back to crowdfunding for Season Two, and this time we want to bring you ten brand new episodes to continue this story and expand the world of The Holmwood Foundation! 

We estimate that we will need £40k to make Season Two a reality. This includes paying our cast and crew a fair rate, distribution, website costs and tier rewards.

Before The Tone is a queer science fiction horror podcast produced by Knave Of Hearts. We follow Mack, a woman who has just gotten a job as a CCTV operator at the increasingly-suspicious Atlas Consulting. It takes the format of voicemails from Mack to her sister, Daria, who never seems to answer her calls. The horror tends towards the psychological as Mack is stalked and reality becomes a little less solid where Atlas is concerned. The science fiction is focused on time and how its fabric can be manipulated.
