The seventh heaven's throne vision feels final, and yet the longer tradition keeps going past seven into the eighth, ninth, and the tenth, where the divine presence is described like incandescent metal pulled from a furnace. At the summit, transformation becomes the core: Michael removes Enoch's earthly clothing, anoints him with shining oil, and clothes him in garments of glory so he can remain near God.
