<p>In Minneapolis, Vance Boelter pleaded guilty Thursday to the assassination of former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, and the shooting of state Senator John Hoffman and his wife, who were each shot multiple times and survived; he will serve two consecutive life terms plus forty years in federal prison. He had arrived at their homes disguised as a police officer carrying a hit list of nearly seventy Democratic officials.
