As a 12 year old, Ruth loved to chat with her friends online but it wasn't long before a predator found and groomed her. This very quickly became a real life, sexually abusive relationship between a child and a full grown adult paedophile. We have spoken to a few chid abuse victims on this podcast but Ruth's memory of this time is so clear that we get a real insight into what 12 year old her was thinking and experiencing. I think it's so important for parents to hear this story to understand how it happens.

The Port Arthur massacre. It's common knowledge in the minds of Australians but it's not often we hear the story of a family who lived through this first hand. Sue's mother was shot and killed during the massacre and her whole family feels the effects of it, even today.

I have spent the past few months doing womb spiral. It's a journey to awaken the feminine, investigate trauma and listen to your body and yoni. There are 7 gates moving through the female organs which each cover a different element of your life. I went through this with Kellie from Soul Healing and she is one of my trusted guides when it comes to this work. This is not one of my typical interviews, it's more a debrief of my experience, which I felt was really valuable to share.
