He completed tours in Northern Ireland and Afghanistan, leaving the military with a gallantry medal under his belt. </p><p> </p><p>In this episode, he talks about what it’s like to defuse explosives in warzones, and the pressure he’s felt during his career. </p><p> </p><p>Leaning on his battlefield experience, he now leads the team at Counter Terrorism Policing who responded to attacks at Parsons Green and Fishmongers Hall. </p><p> </p><p>Could you do Tom’s job?
