How much faith do I need? Can faith be quantified? This is the question asked by the disciples (Mathew 17: 14-20). Can it be measured out the way we measure water in a cup? I have never seen, touched, smelled, or tasted faith. So how can Jesus say that I don’t have enough? Is, faith something that can be portioned out to each person? And who decides how much we should have? If I need more faith, where do I find it? These were the questions people wrestled with when Jesus healed a man’s son. And what was Jesus’ answer?
