In the shadowed reaches of the Fey wilds, the past rarely stays buried for long. Beneath the silver light of the Glimmer Grove, old memories rise to the surface, stirring questions of legacy, expectation, and the quiet weight of family ties that refuse to loosen their grip.   But reflection doesn’t last long in a place where the forest itself seems to listen. When the party awakens in the Hallowed Glen to discover that not everyone made it through the night, the search for their missing companions draws them beyond the safety of consecrated ground and into a wilderness thick with unseen influence. Strange magic lingers between the trees, chance encounters feel anything but accidental, and familiar faces may not be as simple as they first appear.   As the group moves closer to the Temple of Quiet Stars, the journey becomes more than a rescue. Old relationships resurface. New threats emerge from unexpected corners. Words are spoken that carry more weight than anyone realizes in the moment. And somewhere along the path, the line between ally and adversary grows dangerously thin.   By the time the forest stills again, something irreversible will have happened. The air will hang heavy with the aftermath, and a single question will echo louder than the clash of steel or the crackle of magic.   Some choices cannot be taken back. Deep in the Appalachian forest outside Morgantown, North Carolina, the woods have gone quiet in the worst way possible. Three park rangers vanished on night patrol—no calls for backup, no tracks leading out, just empty radios and the sense that something out there is listening.
