Why?  The Bible tells us the devil goes around as a roaring Lion and is able to transform himself into an angel of light, "deceiving the very elect". 
                                                                                
                                                                                It is important to remember we are ALL subject to being deceived, from the most mature Christian to the newest babe in Christ. Therefore we have to constantly be evaluating and testing anything and everything that claims it is of God.  This may not make us popular, but it will keep us SAFE!!!  Jesus himself warns us to be careful; that there would be false Christs and false prophets arising.  SO, if anyone or anything makes claims they are from God we can't automatically assume it is true.  Remember, the wolf in sheep's clothing will vigorously argue and defend it's "identity" as a true sheep!  And even enthusiastic and well-meaning Christians can be used by the enemy if they are not careful to use discernment when they jump on some some spiritual bandwagon!  Therefore let us be wise as serpents and harmless as doves!  If any movement is genuinely of God, it will more than stand the test!
                                                                                
                                                                                When I first heard about the happenings in Florida, I knew I had to look at the "roots" because it was much too early to see the "fruit".   As I heard more and more stories and reports from friends and the media, I became uneasy in my spirit.  I didn't want to be critical, but there were just too many familiar "sights" and "sounds" reminding me of other similar "moves" in the past; moves that were good in the beginning, but ultimately resulted God's flock being disrupted and many sheep being wounded and scattered.  
                                                                
                                                                Legitimate moves are wonderful events and I've experienced them, but I've also seen the "other side"...the counterfeit the enemy brings along and it is often so hard to tell the difference or know what to do.  Oh, how the enemy loves to imitate and when he does people are hurt and God's heart is broken.  So once again, I heard the still small voice saying, "Listen and watch" and I have tried to do just that...   God calls us to be careful - not to make our lives harder, but to protect us.  It breaks His heart when His children become over-confident and veer off the path in their enthusiasm for something or someone...   And forgetting to ask the Shepherd what HE sees, they run off...  God, in His great love allows them to go, but if a work is not His, He will not go there with them.   In all the commotion and emotion, it may seem He is present, but when all is said and done and the excitement dies away, far too often, the wanderer finds they find they are left alone with no where else to go, but back to the path where the Shepherd patiently waits... 
                                                                                
                                                                 So I've watched and listened and read and prayed for discernment and I feel the Lord has spoken to my heart.   Before I ask you to listen to me however, I want to post a clip from a radio broadcast that is extremely insightful and provides some background to the roots of the current "revival".  Please listen carefully and with an open heart.  You are not called to either believe or reject.  You are only called to hear the Shepherd's voice...  And you will if you are His sheep!!</description>

In every move of God's Spirit, it is critical that His people are wise and use discernment..  Why?
