If you’re a fan of science fiction, you’ve probably heard of Spider Robinson. He’s a modern successor to Robert A. Heinlein, and writes amazing sci-fi, mostly about human interaction. What’s less well known is that his wife,Jeanne, has been battling cancer for some time, and it has nearly broken them financially. I met this guy once at a convention. And while everyone there worshipped him like a pagan god, he and his wife still had time to sit and chat with shlubs like me. I’m honored to say that I’ve given him a pun (read the Callahan Chronicles to understand how cool that is). These are good people. Noble, wise, and kind people.
