In this evenings program we will be exploring
the greater mysteries of what and who witches are. Judika Illes will be our
guide into this unknown realm that continues to generate great public
interest. She is an author of several books of folklore, folkways, and
mythology about the subjects of magic, the occult, divination, diverse
spiritual traditions, witchcraft, and the paranormal. She is a practitioner
of taromancy, tasseography, and other forms of divination. Her published
books include The Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells, The Encyclopedia of Spirits,
The Element Encyclopedia of Witchcraft, The Weiser Field Guide to Witches,
and a forthcoming encyclopedia dedicated to saints of many spiritual
traditions.

Thirteen crystal skulls of ancient origin have been discovered in parts of Mexico, Central America and South America, comprising one of the most fascinating subjects of 20th Century archaeology. These skulls, found near ancient ruins of Mayan and Aztec civilizations (with some evidence linking the skulls with past civilizations in Peru) are a mystery as profound as the Pyramids of Egypt, The Nazca Lines of Peru, or Stonehenge. Some of the skulls are believed to be between 5,000 and 36,000 years old. Many indigenous people speak of their remarkable magical and healing properties, but nobody really knows where they came from or what they were used for. Mr. Stephen Mehler will be joining us to help answer some of the many mysteries surrounding these remarkable artifacts.

The National Academy of Sciences has issued warnings that humanity is rapidly making the earth uninhabitable from it’s continued use of oil, coal and fossil fuels. Although some fuels have been proclaimed as cleaner and safer like nuclear energy there are increasing numbers of scientists that say we must look at fuels that are more compatible with our environment. Harry W. Braun will be joining us to discus the controversial issues surrounding this complex topic that is destined to redefine humanity.
