In the morning, I begin the Orton-Gillingham training. &nbsp;I have wanted to participate in this training for some time now, so I am delighted for the opportunity to work with the staff at Lamar County Schools. &nbsp;The Orton-Gillingham method is a sensory-based teaching method that helps students with reading difficulties. Many of our teachers next year will be using the READ WELL literacy program, that is based on the Orton-Gillingham teachings. &nbsp;Can't wait!<br /><br />Hope you all are having a great summer. &nbsp;We are looking forward to a great Fourth of July in Destin, Florida!
