This weekend in Chasing Shadows, we explored what it looks like to stop chasing the past and start trusting God with what’s ahead. Whether we find ourselves longing for the “good old days” or feeling weighed down by mistakes, regrets or pain from our past, it can be easy to believe those shadows will always follow us. Together, we reflected on the truth that God is always doing something new. We were reminded that our past does not define us and that in Jesus, we are made new. God promises to walk with us each day, providing exactly what we need and inviting us into the full life He has for us right now.
