Description

Boomer talked about all the memories Mets fans will have from the playoff run against the Brewers and now against the Phillies. We talked about key moments from the Mets season that propelled them into what they’ve done the past few weeks. Boomer said it reminds him of the way his dad was acting around the ‘69 Mets. Gio said the Mets have a chance against anybody right now, including the Padres or the Dodgers. Boomer doesn’t consider them an underdog anymore. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Lindor grand slam as heard on Phillies radio. Jerry has the Carlos Mendoza speech after the game to his players in the locker room. The Dodgers evened their series 2-2 against the Padres. The Yankees beat the Royals as Stanton had a double, a HR and even a stolen base. Suzyn Waldman talked about all the TV time George Brett is getting during the series. Stanton talked about stealing second even though he can’t run. Aaron Rodgers was on with McAfee and said he had nothing to do with the firing of Saleh. Boomer thinks Woody did the right thing to change the season. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about hurricane Milton ripping the roof off of Tropicana Field. We took some calls from elated Mets fans.
