Rehearsals are about to get underway for the latest production by Barnsleys Lamproom Theatre Company.
Already this years Spring season has seen sell out audiences for Blackadder goes Forth, the TV series adapted for the stage.
The Rise and Fall of Little Voice by Jim Cartwright runs from the 24th of May until 29th 2010 at the Lamproom Theatre on Westgate.
The play follows much of the story from the 1998 film which starred Jane Horrocks, Michael Caine, Ewan McGregor Jim Broadbent and Brenda Blethyn who received an academy award nomination for her performance as best supporting actress.
Auditions took place on Tuesday the 9th of March and to see how the night went for Director Phil Shepherd all you need to do is press play.
