Welcome to the latest podcast from mybarnsleychannel.com.  In this edition we visit Barnsley’s Cooper Art Gallery on Church Street to explore the “Revealed” exhibition. If you’ve ever wondered how and why the Cooper Gallery became part of Barnsley history then this podcast goes some of the way to answer your questions. With over four hundred paintings in the collection , the Revealed project used a number of them to tell the story of the gallery and also as a catalyse to inspire new works by local artists, as well as students from Barnsley College, Joseph Locke Primary School and Barnsley Young Writers Group.
