CCOG Bishop John Carter, Set Your House In Order.

Send us Fan Mail A storm is on the horizon, and we refuse to pretend it is not there. We open with worship that names the fear plainly, then we shift into a message that draws a line in the sand: it is time to set your house in order. Not someday. Not when life calms down. Now, while there is still time to repent, forgive, and get every corner of your life back under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We connect today’s anxieties to a bigger spiritual picture, touching on headlines about artificial intelligence and the growing fear of technology enabling new waves of destruction, including disease and biochemical warfare. But we do not camp out in doom. We point to the good news and the central hope of the church: Jesus is coming, and readiness is not built on rumors, it is built on a real relationship with God. A major focus is Revelation 6 and the four horsemen: dominion, division, deprivation, and death. We talk about counterfeit peace, the trap of offense, and how isolation makes believers easy targets. Then we lift our eyes to what changes everything, the resurrection, and we name the promise of Christ’s return with simple confidence. The message ends with an urgent altar call, because eternity is not a topic to analyze from a distance. If you need a wake up call that is biblical, direct, and hopeful, press play.
