This mix was recorded live at an outdoor private event with two professional live African percussionists on conga drums. Due to technical limitations at the venue, I was unable to add their tracks to this mix.
Miriam Makeba's classic tune "Pata Pata" is one of my all time favorites and my live remix of it was spontaneous and unrehearsed. I generally do not plan my sets, and tends to go with the spirit of the moment. Audience at this event really liked the outcome and I hope you enjoy it too.
Booking agents and promoters; please provide adequate audio monitor, especially in an outdoor settings. A standard guideline is to double the amount of indoor monitors for outdoor events to compensate for wind and crowd noise. Cheers - DJ Nature Boy
