A bar and grille in Providence, RI is being sued by ASCAP for allowing a couple of songs to be performed during one of their karaoke nights without the “proper license needed for those musical selections to be legally performed in public.” Fish Co. is not the only establishment this has happened to this year…a Woburn bar faced a similar lawsuit for playing John Denver’s “Take Me Home…Country Roads” without paying royalties.
