It says some very uncomfortable things about us. Here, the apostle Paul describes us as &#8220;ungodly&#8221; and &#8220;sinners.&#8221; Those aren&#8217;t pleasant descriptors. But unfortunately, they are accurate. And, because of our ungodly ways and our sinful thoughts, words and actions, our Maker could have let us die in those sins and be separated from him forever. It is what we would have deserved.</p> <p>But instead, God chose to love us! Yes, in an amazing act of HIS will, he determined that he would come to this earth for you and me and all people, would live for us, would die for us. In an amazing act of his will, he determined to save us. In an amazing act of love, Christ came and died in our place. God has chosen to love us with the most amazing love ever.</p> <p>So, you can live today in confidence, knowing that God is on your side, knowing that God loves you dearly!</p> <blockquote> <h4>Prayer:</h4> <p>Assure me that you have chosen to love me, dear Savior.
