Description

Georgina and her husband, both Jewish, were separated right after they married. Nazi Germany had invaded Hungary and right after that Georgina had her firstborn child. Georgina knew she needed to hide and she hid in plain sight of the Nazis, which took much courage. Unbeknownst to Georgina, her husband was hiding in plain sight too. How did they do it? Georgina’s daughter, Gabriella Kovac, wrote the story and shares with us what it was like living under communism and the courage Georgina carried in order to live against the odds.
