The problem is that when we short-cut our faith it always turns into a detour that brings us back to the waiting place that we already were, only now with numerous issues and consequences along with the waiting.

No one likes to wait a long time for the things they really want, but sometimes that is the best place to be. What's intriguing to me is that even thou Abraham had fears and doubts God still says that he had unwavering faith (Romans 4:20).  How could that be?  Well we will see today that the way to have unwavering faith is to believe in the One who is unwavering.

Do you ever have fears or doubts?  You love God and believe in God, but you have fears and doubts? IS it okay to have doubts? The King of the Mountain also needs to be the King of the valley. And who our king is in the valley is even more important to our spiritual life that who our King is on the Mountaintop. Sometimes it’s easier to fight Kederlaomer on the mountain than it is to resist Sodom in the valley.
