A talk given by Professor Simon Caney at a climate change panel discussion organised by Global Directions and the Oxford Centre for International Studies The discussion was organised in celebration of the publication of 'Climate Justice: Vulnerability and Protection' by Emeritus Fellow Professor Henry Shue. Simon Caney is Professor of Political Theory in the Department of Politics and International Relations, and Co-Director of the Oxford Martin Programme on Human Rights for Future Generations. In addition to 'Justice Beyond Borders: A Global Political Theory' he has written highly influential articles on issues of human rights and justice raised by climate change, including 'Two Kinds of Climate Justice' [2014]. He was recently commissioned by the Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice to conduct a study on the topic of his presentation.
