Off the needles
Lex has finished her <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/totally-tubular-sock" target="_blank">tubular</a> socks!  Finished the 2nd cuff, ends are sewn in!  Pattern by Samantha Roshak
Lex also finished a simple 2&#215;2 ribbed hat &#8211; knit 3 ply sock yarn using Navajo plying technique.  Brilliant!  Used “Easy knit warm ribbed hat” pattern by Leef Bloomenstiel as a rough guideline (mostly for the decrease intervals, decrease math is not my thing)
Jenn &#8211; mittens out of Knitpicks Tweed Aran weight in the Plum Wine Colorway. created my own pattern, with texting thumbs. made thumbs to long and so they make me a little crazy. They are very plain but are lovely and warm
Show me your knits!
Lex &#8211; Hubby’s “<a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hermiones-everyday-socks" target="_blank">Other</a>” sock.  Gotta get over second sock syndrome!
Jenn &#8211; <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/starshower" target="_blank">Starshower</a> cowl by Hilary Smith Callis out of Fino by Manos Del Uruguay, just joined to work in the round. Still plugging away at my <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/five-by-five-cowl" target="_blank">Five by Five</a> cowl by Felicia Lo from Sweet Georgia.
When good knitting goes bad
Jenn &#8211; working on the Starshower cowl on the flight from Calgary to Vancouver and realized that I went on row to far and now the pattern is backwards. Had to frog it when i finally got to the hotel.
