📖 The Story of God in the Bible The Bible is an entire collection — 66 books, written by 40 authors, spanning more than 2,000 years. The writers included poets, kings, theologians, shepherds, fishermen — all kinds of people. Yet in all these stories and collections, it tells one story — the story of God. Before time and space, before science, there was a story — and in that story is the Triune God. He set this story in motion, and since eternity past, we have been part of it. When you read the Bible, you see three main things: • Who God is • What God wants • What God is doing in the universe God tells His story in our story. From Genesis to Revelation, we see two great matters: image and dominion (Gen. 1:26). We are made to express God and to represent God. Our destiny is to reign with Him — in this age and for eternity.
