DJ James Michael Bio:

I’m James Michael Purcell and have been known over the years as Dj LibriL, being my Drum & Bass DJ name for over a decade…… Boy time flies.
If I cast my mind back 15 years, it all began with playing the drums. When I hit my early to mid-teens, my brother instigated a Drum & Bass soldier and the drums soon got dropped for a pair of Numark turntables, shortly followed by some Technics.
Some of you may know from recent sets and activity on In-Reach.co.uk that I’ve grown a serious passion for House music, in particular artists such as New Jack City, Breach, Foamo, Gorgon City, LKID, Cause & Affect, Hannah Wants, Jay Lumen and many more…. the list could go on.
Anyway, I fancied recording a mix of all the House music I’m loving right now for my gig at XOYO on Fri 6th December. It’s a fairly random free-styled selection of the style I’ll be playing in the club. Big shout to Matt Bogard, Sam DMS and Walt Utz for letting me play there!
I’d love it if you had a cheeky listen and of course, any feedback much appreciated!
