This Show Has Everything

It’s no longer SPOOKY HALLOWEENTIME, but your TSHE hosts can still get a little scared sometimes. From closet monsters to battery anxiety, are the Coven’s terrors always logical? No! But we are here vulnerably admitting our irrational fears to you! 

In other news, the mysterious new Subaru owner is revealed in an M. Night Shymalanesque twist, Hillary talks about her adventure to Louisiana, and Ann and Meredith break down the GBBO finale (spoilers - you’ve been warned). On that note, should Hillary (a GBBO virgin) start watching the show? We’ll see! And finally, please educate us - why are there so many hockey romances?!

TSHE Recommends (aka Hillary’s most recent dad entertainment): 

We try not to be too hard on ourselves around here, but occasionally we have to acknowledge the truth of our mediocrity. In that vein, Bobby, Meredith and Ann are discussing the things we’re no good at, no matter how hard we try. From athletics to food prep to animal discipline, we just keep making the effort and hoping we’ll somehow get different results. Plus, Meredith is watching (new to her) classic movies, Bobby went to listen to a washed up public servant, and this show is not about AI, all evidence to the contrary.

How we wrote it up last summer:

Last week’s episode turned out to be kind of a heavy one, so this week we decided to do a “quick and breezy” show about fast food. Are you a McD’s or a BK household? How does one authentically pronounce Whataburger? Where do Chipotle, Tim Horton’s and Dunkin fall on the fast food scale? And about that Subway bread…. Numerous tangents include: “onion” rings, Marty the Stop & Shop surveillance robot, and bagels (several times). Plus, Hillary’s diner nightmare, Ann is a conscientious objector to the chicken sandwich wars, and whether Bobby is a mac daddy or a daddy mac.

This week, grown adults Meredith, Hillary, Bobby and Ann gather to tackle one of life’s great questions: How do we—again, grown adults—make friends? Where do we go? What do we do? And how do we not know the answer and yet somehow know Meetup is not the answer?
