Fall is officially here for Week 4 of American Football - All American | (Septemer, 23, 2026)

It's the end of September already and week 4 of college football is here in the American Conference. Maria Trivelpiece is joined by Syndey Staples to break it all down in Studio A on this week's All American. They are joned by Underdog Dynasty and SB Nation Writer Steve Helwick who gives hist thoughts on the American so far. He discusses what teams have impressed him so far in Tulsa, South Florida and Florida Atlantic. Along with joining in on the Underrated team debate and how he views North Texas as that team. He also gives a very earlier thoughout on the conference championship doubling down on his preseason pick of Army vs South Florida. Maria and Sydney breakdown the 3-0 Tulsa Golden Hurricane who are off to thweir best start since 2008. They look ahead ot this week's big matchup at Arkansas and how a win could launch Tulsa into being in a great spot for CFP aspirations after non-conference play. They also discuss the other 3-0 team in South Florida anf how the Bulls conitnue to win and get better each week. They also discuss the Shula Bowl win by Florida Atlantic which was led by the defense who had 3 picks in the 1st quarter. They discuss how the comos of offense and defense both clicking could lead to big things for the Owls. They also talk about the big game for UTSA against Colorado State and how the Roadrunners can take what they learned last week in the loss to Texas and apply it to this week ahead. They also breakdown the miliatary acadmies double header on Friday first when Army takes on Temple as both teams look to rebound form tough losses in their last games. Followed by Navy visiting UAB where the run game on both sides will be key to success. Both games air on ESPN. They then look at the full slate of games for the weekend and the opportunity the American has this week.  Quarterback Michael Van Buren of South Florida joins All American to discuss the Bulls 3-0 start. He talks about playing for Brian Hartline and the keys to how he has gotten better each ganme so far. They also discuss what will lead South Florida to more success thorughout the season. Along with who he idolizes his game after and the person in his life who means the most and has been there since day 1. The debate of the week takes shape in what team is seen as the most underrated in the league so far? Ironically it's the teams who haven't lost yet and Maria and Syndey highlight why they need to be talked about more.  Laslty our social media moment of the week highlights a special game ball give to Tulsa Outside Linebackers Coach John Beckley who trgaically lost his wife and their unborn child last week. The moment post-game shows the power of the football fmaily and make you relaize how there really are bigger things than just the game.
