Montesquieu stated the following in his influential text The Spirit of the Laws: “The tyranny of a prince in an oligarchy is not so dangerous to the public welfare as the apathy of a citizen in a democracy.” Apathy can be defined as a “lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern,” and, in this podcast, we are attempting to use each of our voices to prevent the dangerous force of apathy from overtaking our society.
