Acting Coaches (with Will Ferrell)

Stella Adler. Uta Hagen. Lee Strasberg. Stanislavski. Meisner. Acting coaches and acting teachers like these greats are the lifeblood of New York and Hollywood. Not the big screen per se, but the city itself, molding young actors as they chase their dreams of the limelight. Over the years, many teachers have developed philosophies and techniques, and today we have the honor and privilege of sitting down with 5 such coaches. From conventional wisdom to unlikely sources of inspiration, these teachers reveal how they came to develop their techniques, how they help students approach both auditioning and acting (two separate skills), and what makes them just like you and me. So get out your notebook, shake it out, and listen in. Our guest this week is the one and only Will Ferrell! This man truly needs no introduction unless you have literally been living under a rock - he's been in all your favorite movies and shows from Elf to Anchorman. It was such an honor to get to play with him and make him laugh, and we will never stop talking about it. Find him starring in The Hawk on Netflix and occasionally DJ'ing wherever he so chooses!
