LONDON, United Kingdom—Researchers in London have identified patterns of regulatory T-cells that give early warning of high risk for lung cancer. The journal Nature has just published research showing that lung cancer could be intercepted through blood tests years ahead of current screening and diagnostics, and treated with safe targeted drugs some of which are already under investigation. Peter Goodwin called into the Pre-cancer Immunology Laboratory at University College London to hear from the senior author of this research, James Reading PhD.
