Pigskin: Week 3 Recap USC at Rutgers, Colorado at Northwestern, and Virginia Tech at Maryland

Bowden & Korbin are back with their Week 3 recap, and they’ve got three matchups to break down: USC at Rutgers, Colorado at Northwestern, and Virginia Tech at Maryland. They open with USC at Rutgers, where Bowden’s preview‑week prediction proved accurate — the Scarlet Knights kept it tight and ultimately fell by just one touchdown. Korbin throws the big question back at Bowden: “Is USC this bad, or is Rutgers this good?” The debate is on. Next, they shift to Colorado at Northwestern, a game the Wildcats controlled from start to finish. Aidan Chiles looked sharp, while Colorado struggled throughout. After such a dominant performance, the guys wonder whether Northwestern can make real noise in the Big Ten. Then it’s on to Virginia Tech at Maryland. James Franklin — returning for his Big Ten homecoming — gets the win on the road in College Park. Malik Washington and Maryland showed plenty of promise but ultimately came up short. The conversation turns to the big question: has Mike Locksley saved his job? It’s a fantastic Week 3 show. ENJOY!
