Being Fathered by God - The Why.

The Bible says in Romans 8 that we have been "given the spirit of adoption as sons [and daughters] by whom we cry 'Abba, Father' ". How cool!  Whether you have had a perfect earthly fathers or a father who abandoned you, we all have the same need for our Father in heaven. Have you ever deeply considered the character of God as your father?  Being fathered by God and believing that he will never fail you changes everything. You can have confidence in all circumstances because you know your Father in heaven is perfect, has good plans for you, and will protect/provide for you in the ways you truly need.  You are not alone, abandoned, or left to your own defenses.
