1 Peter 3:18-22 A confusing passage we may not fully understand, but can grasp enough to see the pattern of consistent faithfulness amid suffering, produces buoyancy and resilience.

1 Peter 1:1-9 Peter lets exiled believers know that the inheritance of God's salvation and eternal life are imperishable gifts, kept by God in heaven for us. This brings us hope and security that we can not lose the gift of salvation. We can press on through hardships or trials because of what is waiting for us.

1 Timothy 4-6 Paul gives Timothy a master class in dealing with insidious influencers in the church. These gospel principles apply to the human heart and thus to so many more leadership scenarios beyond a church context.

1 Timothy 1-3 The Holy Spirit lays out a foundation of how believers should behave when they assemble to worship. There should be sound doctrine, Godly/Reverent Worship, and Christ-like qualities displayed. Chapter 2 can be a bit controversial, but it gives a framework for the flourishing of families and churches to have different roles for men and women.

Hebrews Jesus is far better than the old covenant means (priests, prophets, rituals). He speaks better word, he provides access to God the Father and gives the believers confidence to enter boldly.
