21. Mahabharat : The Oath That Came Back for Bhishma !

Bhishma’s legendary oath is one of the defining moments of the Mahabharata. But every oath has consequences — and some consequences can take a lifetime to arrive. In this episode of Bharat Unscripted, we follow a lesser-known but extraordinary story from the Mahabharata: the story of Amba, Bhishma, and the events that eventually lead to Shikhandi. What happens when a decision made by one person changes the life of another? What happens when that injustice becomes a vow of its own? And can a promise survive beyond a single lifetime? From Hastinapur to Kurukshetra, this is a story of vows, choices, injustice, sacrifice, rebirth and the unexpected ways in which the consequences of our decisions return to us. A story from the Mahabharata that is not simply about war or warriors — but about the choices we make, the choices made for us, and the consequences we carry.
