Description
eresa Blaes hosts solo on Blaes and Gottsch (Michelle returns next week) to wrap up the 2026 NFL preseason, recapping three teams’ final preseason games:
Arizona put up impressive offense (492 yards) but blew a lead, letting Green Bay score 15 unanswered points in the final five minutes to lose 38–42. Big question mark: can they close out games?
Green Bay had the standout performance of the preseason, routing Minnesota 34–6, outgaining them 412–269 yards and keeping them out of the end zone entirely. Teresa’s genuinely excited about their trajectory.
Kansas City managed only 9 points in a low-scoring game at Seattle (Seattle’s Jason Myers missed a potential game-winning field goal), moving the ball well but repeatedly failing to finish drives in the red zone.
Teresa ties it together with a broader theme: the preseason’s biggest recurring failure across these teams was an inability to finish, closing out games, finishing drives, and closes with a reflection on finishing well in whatever work you do.
