Hangover Hacks, Green Wine & Britain's Best Bottles!

This week on Bottoms Up! Alan’s brought the welcome drink for a reluctant Lee as he surprises him with a fluorescent green, sour apple-flavoured wine to celebrate Bonfire Night. The boys swap their favourite hangover hacks, from Lee’s electrolytes and beefy Hula Hoops to Alan’s chicken noodle soup and his tried-and-tested combination of a tequila shot and Haribo Tangfastics. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it! This week’s dilemma sees the boys choosing their perfect in-flight wine ahead of their trip to South Africa. Thanks to our friends at Virgin Atlantic, the boys are off to Franschhoek for a spot of very important ‘work’. Vineyards to visit. Wines to taste. But before they take off, there’s the small matter of getting acquainted with a few of the wines they’ll find in Upper Class. Best get cracking, boys. Dilemma Wines featured: Hambledon Classic Cuvée English Sparkling Mont Rochelle ‘Little Rock Rouge’ Recital Gavoty And if you fancy a little Upper Class treatment yourself? Come on in. The Clubhouse is waiting, the wine’s looking lovely and there’s a seat with your name on it. Book your taste of the high life at virginatlantic.com. And finally, wine expert Hannah Tyler (@theenglishwineedit) joins the boys to dive deeper into the world of English wine as they discover it’s more than just bubbles that are made well in Blighty.
