I always liked these feathers as they remind me of a two piece suit. Dark grey flannel trousers, a prestinely ironed white Oxford Shirt (if you love ties, then pair it with a dark purple silk tie, preferably with a pattern of some sort) and a black Herringbone jacket, fitted with dark brown or black buttons. The shoes...for casual...monk strap shoes in dark brown/mahogany, jus to give the whole look a splash of more subtle colours. If formal then you can't go wrong with a pair of Oxfords; the base of the shoes i prefer rubber, as i dislike the tick-tack sounds a pair of formal leather shoes makes...unless you're ballin' then knock yaself out with the tap dancing. Ey yo don't forget the pocket square too. I personally don't like ties, so i prefer a crimson red pocket square or a dark purple/navy type deal; the puff formation is my preferred pocket square fold. This brings the black suit jacket to life. Now to finish it off you need a lapel pin...i prefer a full brass Ace of Clubs label pin...black with a gold border (i used to own one from the Lackadaisy Cat's webcomic...but they since revamped the design and i do not like); this lapel pin is placed on the opposite side/lapel to where your pocket square is...of course you may have to do some tailoring for that. As a side note i rarely wore white shirts back in my suit-wearing days. I prefer dark navy shirts most of the time. Sometimes a mocha brown shirt, the darker brown the better. Now pair your trousers with a black belt with a silver buckle, and a silver chrome pen in the inner breast pocket alongside your moleskin pocket notebook (or the Erdnase pocket edition of "Expert At The Card Table", the green one from Conjuring Archives shop)...
