The Founder of Highline Real Estate Capital sat down with us over a glass of tequila to talk about his journey. He graduated cum laude from UM Law and practiced law before real estate pulled him away for good. A leasing job at CREC turned into twenty years, running acquisitions, serving as a court appointed receiver on millions of square feet of distress, and then walking away in 2016 to start over under his own name. Since then: a fund raised into the teeth of the rate shock, the Bank of America Plaza deal on Las Olas, the biggest Broward office trade in a decade, and a Doral office park turned Live Local apartment play.
