The Euphoria Rollercoaster, Part 3
Mitzen and Gray get back on the rollercoaster that is Euphoria to talk about the series finale, and specifically where Rue’s story ends (with major spoilers). We talk about what it means to support someone dealing with addiction and how the addict often ends up isolated and without resources. We draw from our own experiences working in mental health/social services with vulnerable populations. We also give our thoughts on how the show progressed to its end, and the Sam Levinson of it all. Please also check out the article we cited from Dominique Morgan entitled In Real Life You Would Have Given Up On Rue: What ‘Euphoria’ Exposes About Addiction, Black Women, And The Limits Of Our Compassion.
