Reasons to Hope (Radically Recentered 1.4)

Date: October 4, 2026 Text: Revelation 2:8-11 The church at Smyrna was suffering; and while the letter Jesus sends them doesn't promise immediate relief, it does give them four reasons to hold on: God knows what they are suffering, God has a purpose for it, God has set a limit on it, and God has a reward waiting for them on the other side. As we sit with those same four reasons today, Jesus' two commands to the Smyrnans still apply to anyone in a hard season: do not be afraid, and be faithful.
