Nantiinaq

Send us Fan Mail This week on Chris and Adam vs. the Unknown, we kick things off with our Fringe Headlines segment, discussing a strange sighting in the sky following a recent SpaceX rocket launch that has people wondering what exactly was seen. We also take a quick trip to West Virginia to talk about the annual Mothman Festival, where fans of the legendary winged cryptid gather to celebrate one of the most famous mysteries in the paranormal world. Then, we dive into our main topic: the Nantiinaq, a mysterious creature from Indigenous folklore said to roam the wilderness of Alaska—and is believed to be responsible for causing an entire village of people to flee. What is this elusive being, and why have stories of encounters with it continued to capture people's imaginations? Is it an undiscovered creature lurking in the remote wilderness, a legend passed down through generations, or something even stranger?
