Christ With Coffee On Ice

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost talks about how we can justify our sin and how that isn't a way God has called us to live. We are all guilty of this whether it's about one single sin or about your entire lifestlye. Ultimately, we all try to justify why we do the things that we do instead of looking to God first. "But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea." Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Wednesday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost felt led to talk about the feeling of envy and jealousy. God says in His word that envy is a sin and it can easily manifest in us if we are not careful. As followers of Jesus we have to continually ask Him to examine our hearts and today's topic is just one of many examples where we need Him to check us in. "For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right." Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost talks about reputation and image and ultimately wanting people to understand us. We touched on a few of these things in our last episode but today we are going to talk about the idol of approval. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety." Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Wednesday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost talks about the idol of being understood. If there's anyone who understands what it means to be misunderstood and to be perceived in a way that isnt true, it's Jesus Himself. God is the only one who will ever truly and fully understood us and that should give us comfort and hope today. "When Jesus heard this, he said, "Healthy people don't need a doctor—sick people do." Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost talks about confronting areas of our life that we maybe never fully allowed God to heal us in. The reality is that it won't always be easy to walk through that and we tend to want to blame everthing else but the possibility of God inviting us into deeper healing. Our prayer for this episode is that you find a sense of relatibility in something said today. "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve."
