It was about the Mt Pleasant Coal mine.  The DAMSEG community group won a landmark  victory in the High court. The  lifeline offered to the coal company  by NSW Premier was strongly condemned. Legal experts and environmental groups accused the Minns government of bypassing the judicial system, undermining independent planning laws, and favoring corporate mining interests. Sue Higginson MLC spoke especially clearly on this.
