Jacob and Jessica sit down with writer Brendon Connelly to talk about his upcoming BBC Radio 4 mystery series “Done to Death” — a cozy murder mystery with a sharp edge. Set in the fictional town of Wickleford and centered on a book club, every episode flips another classic mystery trope on its head. Brendon sent us a preview to listen to. Can we solve whodunit before Detective Mike Shepherd drops the big reveal, given that it is absolutely not aliens? Or maybe it is? Jessica does, in fact, guess aliens, but somehow her guess that doesn’t involve aliens is even stranger. Jacob’s guess nearly gets him on the wrong side of Kiwis everywhere, but are either of them correct? Along the way: Jessica defends the word "molded" to a skeptical Midwesterner, and they attempt to settle the matter once and for all by considering writing to Green Day.
