Principles or Person? | Jonathan Stanfield

Have following Christian principles replaced a living relationship with Jesus? Christianity is not a system of rules, formulas, or theological principles to follow – we follow a Person. Our faith is defined by grace, not self-directed effort or mere adherence to moral guidelines. Throughout Scripture, God’s desire has always been for His people to walk with Him, from Enoch’s daily fellowship with God to Moses seeking His presence and Paul following the Spirit’s leading. Jonathan Stanfield reminds us that our faith calls us beyond knowing what the Bible says to walking closely with the living Saviour it reveals – learning to hear His voice and follow His leading.
