Telegram Press Episode #18 Coalescing Strings of Pearls

Christopher Shoust has embarked on an unusually epic journey. As a digital creator, he is publishing softcover books with a specific criterion. Telegram Press is giving authors and readers a much wider variety of books. One that will inspire you to discover some new titles for your own library. We discuss what led Christopher down this path, what intrigues him to continue, and where he has placed his creative practice in the background. Is it running alongside this publishing company? Is his work impacted by the authors he has in his catalogue? Or does he draw a hard line between the two? Join me as we discover how a digital creator masters the art of small press publishing, making a difference for local creatives who struggle to be heard and seen in this ever increasingly competitive field. Christopher shows us the ropes of the inner workings of being a publisher and how he meets the creatives behind the scenes.   Thank you so much for listening to The Creatively Thinking Podcast!
