I FINALLY Quit My 9-5! My 3-Year Journey to Full-Time Content Creator

After 16 years as a communications lineman, Mike finally walked away from his full-time job to pursue content creation and entrepreneurship. But the road to becoming a full-time creator wasn't an overnight success story. In this episode of the Creator's Leverage Guild Podcast, Ben takes over as host and digs into Mike's journey from woodworking and Etsy to farming, viral Facebook reels, the Amazon Influencer Program, YouTube, and ultimately leaving his 9-to-5. We talk about the income swings creators face, the financial decisions Mike made before quitting, why paying off his mortgage mattered, the sacrifices of building a business while working long hours, and what having more time with family really means. Plus, we share our September and October earnings updates and discuss why useful, evergreen content can keep paying off for years.
