Social media is full of people offering life lessons about failure, growth, courage, freedom, and human connection. But are these ideas really based on careful thought, or are people simply fitting their experiences into familiar slogans? In this episode, I explore the difference between deduction and induction and argue that much online “philosophy” starts with weak assumptions and then forces reality to fit them. Real thinking requires observing concrete experiences, questioning exceptions, revising ideas, and sometimes admitting that we still do not know. Perhaps genuine thought begins not with impressive conclusions, but with the willingness to keep asking questions.
